Some interesting facts about me:

I am not from big cities like Shanghai or Beijing:

I was born and raised in Foshan, a city right next to Guangzhou. To me, it is a city of memory. It is a place where you can get rid of noises, crowds, and cold, tall buildings.

Not all Chinese speak Mandarin:

I speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. Cantonese is my first language. I learned speaking Mandarin for 4 years, by making friends who speak Mandarin and keeping practice (I mean I can understand and read Mandarin because they share the same characters but in terms of speaking, the majority of Cantonese, like my parents, speak poor Mandarin.)

Not all of us know Kong Fu:

Foshan is one of the original cities of martial art. If you have watched Ip Man or Wong Fei Hung, you probably know Foshan as a city. I would say martial art is absolutely one of the representative culture in China and I enjoy watching Ip Man as well. But you know, we are just ordinary people…
